How Ascenso Tyres made every EU shipment DDS-ready with TRST01Chain MeeS
Challenge
Ascenso Tyres, part of the Mahansaria Group and the third largest exporter of off-road tyresfrom India, sources natural rubber from 18 or more vendors spread across 5 ormore countries and runs two production plants. Multi-country, multi-vendorprocurement made EUDR compliance genuinely complex.
Every incoming shipment needed its plot geolocation screened, finishedtyres needed to be linked back to their source plots across both plants, and aconsolidated polygon set and DDS had to be produced and filed for each EUshipment, all without slowing procurement or duplicating data already held inthe company's ERP and its buyers' systems.
Approach
● Onboarded Ascenso's 18-plus rubber vendors across 5-plus countries into a single vendor-management workspace.
● Integrated MeeS with the Epicor ERP so purchase order, receipt and invoice data flow without double entry.
● Connected MeeS to a European customer's EUDR portal and to the EU Information System (EU TRACES NT) by API.
● Set up automated screening of every shipment's GeoJSON and DDS at the point of upload.
Solution
● Vendor compliance management, with every vendor'sdocuments and plot data tracked in one place.
● Automated GeoJSON validation and deforestation checkson every incoming shipment's data.
● Internal traceability linking finished tyres back totheir source plots across both production plants.
● A consolidated polygon set and DDS generatedautomatically for each EU shipment.
Direct filing to EU TRACES NT by API, submitting the DDS and retrievingits reference number instantly, with a live link to the buyer's EUDR portal.
Results
With rubber compliance running, Ascenso andTRST01 are extending the same approach across additional vendors and productlines, keeping every EU shipment audit-ready as sourcing volumes and countriesgrow.
